This year’s Architectural Digest Design Show celebrates a host of wonderful new products but we’re especially excited about Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet’s brand new line of outdoor kitchen cabinetry called the Arcadia Series. It’s the perfect complement to their luxury grills, pizza ovens, smokers and refrigerators.
The prototypes—cabinetry will be available for order this August—deliver sleek, distinctive styling that contrasts the firm’s signature brushed stainless steel with four-board powder-coated panels (you've got some 200 color choices) or FSC-certified ipe paneling with an oiled finish. Configurations are completely customizable to help you create your perfect outdoor kitchen. There are more than twenty different storage, sink, waste, recycling, and appliance bases to choose from, and every component rests on leveling legs. The company's original, all-stainless cabinetry is still available and now called the Signature Cabinetry Series.
The launch of the Arcadia Series comes on the heels of Kalamazoo’s debut of their new gravity-feed charcoal Smoker Cabinet and exemplifies the company’s forward-thinking and innovative approach to outdoor living. And for those of you near the beach, Kalamazoo also now offers the majority of its designs in a marine-grade stainless steel. This new fabrication offers greater resistance to the corrosive effects of ocean air and sea spray.
And as you ready your outdoor entertaining area for summer entertaining, did you know that Kalamazoo also makes an outdoor fireplace? The freestanding design is called the Pasadena Fireplace and comes in two charming Arts and Crafts-inspired motifs, Ginko (shown) and Oak Leaf, so perfectly in tune to our region.
