Liebherr's new BioFresh technology is a game changer.
BioFresh is a unique refrigeration feature in the Liebherr mainline and Monolith products that keeps food fresher—and your family safer. By storing food items in optimum conditions, the patented technology keeps foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals fresh for longer than conventional refrigerator compartments.
Food stays fresher when stored at near-freezing temperatures and the BioFresh drawers are precisely regulated to a temperature slightly above 32°F, far below conventional refrigerator compartment temperatures. (The Monolith designs even go as low as 28°F!)
But it’s not just about temperature controls, humidity is also a key to preservation. The DrySafe drawer is designed to have low humidity, ideal for storing meat, fish, and dairy products, while the HydroSafe drawer is optimal for fruits and vegetables at a 90% humidity level. Within both drawers is Liebherr’s FlexSystem organization system, which allows you to keep contents separated—arranged by expiration date, for example—and in easy view.
And to help you get the most out of your refrigerator, Liebherr has developed the BioFresh App, which not only provides food storage suggestions and guidance, it offers valuable nutrition information.
