A designer’s job can often be difficult and draining, and in addition to offering them top-quality products and outstanding service, we believe it’s part our job to encourage their creative process. The special events we’ve organized for this trip are designed to educate, uplift and inspire. 

If you’re attending Salone, we’d like to offer you a more personal experience and direct access to some of our most celebrated vendors. Salone is vast and can be overwhelming, and we hope this lineup of events will give you a sense of connection and community while you’re there.

From launch parties with Smeg and Dolce & Gabbana, to a private tour of the Fondazione Prada, plus guided walking tours and exclusive day trips—you’ll find our complete itinerary below. Best of all, you can RSVP to each event with one easy click. Make haste! Space is limited.

MONDAY, APRIL 16

Trip to Fantini Factory and Casa Fantini

Visit to Lago d’Orta and the Fantini compound, followed by lunch at the Piero Lissoni designed Casa Fantini boutique hotel with Daniela Fantini and Russ Diamond. The Fantini Italian design factory is a family business that was established in 1947 by brothers Giovanni and Ersilio Fantini. Combining great hand-crafting skill with industrial technology and processes, Fantini has collaborated with internationally renowned designers including Piero Lissoni, Vincent Van Duysen and Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriquez.

Walking Tour of the Brera with Flexform’s Gregory Herman

SMEG + Dolce & Gabbana Launch Party

Walking Tour of the Fair with Russ Diamond

Join Russ Diamond, President of Snyder Diamond, for an intimate tour of luxury European kitchen and bath manufacturer booths including Fantini, Gessi, Dornbracht, Effegibi, Kreoo, Duravit, Artelinea, Graff and Devon & Devon. Russ Diamond has been coming to Salone for over 30 years and will be sharing his close, personal relationships with guests. This is a rare opportunity to meet the personalities behind many of the brands and get your questionsanswered. Guests will also enjoy coffee, pastry, lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
