Metris, Hansgrohe's Inspired New Design

Hansgrohe, the 115-year-old German firm famous for inventing the multi-function showerhead and handshower, has just delivered its signature style and technology to the kitchen.  The new Metris line of kitchen faucets, now available at Snyder Diamond, is essentially three user-specific variations of a single innovative and modernist design: HighArc, Prep and Bar. Each offers simplicity, comfort and functionality—a must for the kitchen. The main body of the faucet rises up from a softly rounded square base, tapering as it reaches the circular, swiveling spout. In one easy movement, the faucet’s dual-spray hand unit can be easy pulled from its base; a generous length of hose makes washing up a breeze. And, thanks to the magnetized base, when the hand unit is returned to its base it remains firmly in place. Water temperature and flow are easily controlled with the ergonomically designed lever. As with all of Hansgrohe’s award-winning products, Metris, which is designed in collaboration with Phoenix Design, underwent rigorous testing at the company’s Black Forest laboratory, so you’re guaranteed superior performance. Metris is available in a chrome or steel finish, making its sleek and smooth silhouette a handsome addition to any style kitchen. Want to see it in action? Click here to watch a video.
