Sub Zero Refrigeration

SUB-ZERO REFRIGERATION

Sub-Zero Refrigeration has been pioneering the science & art of food preservation since 1945.

For over 75 years, Sub-Zero’s Madison, Wisconsin family-owned and operated company has been reimagining refrigeration with customizable units that are tested and built to last for more than 20 years of daily use.

THE MISSION

From the moment a fig is picked, a clock begins to tick. For its flavor is never better, brighter, or sweeter than when it is perfectly ripe. Prolonging that freshness—that fleeting peak taste and texture—is the single-minded mission of Sub-Zero.

BUILT TO LAST

Inspired by Westye’s passion for building the best products, Sub-Zero refrigerators never compromise on quality. All of the materials are premium grade; every piece of technology, state of the art; the detailed craftsmanship, of the caliber expected in the world’s finest homes.

AMERICAN MANUFACTURED

Our products are built in our own Wisconsin and Arizona facilities, where we control every step of the manufacturing process.

TESTED FOR DEPENDABILITY

Our appliances are designed to last for a minimum of 20 years. This is because their major components undergo extreme stress tests prior to proceeding to the final stage of design. Furthermore, every major function on every single unit is tested before shipping.

A LIFETIME OF SUPPORT

Their products include industry-leading warranties, an unmatched customer service team of experts in Madison, Wisconsin, and a comprehensive network of hand-selected trained installers and service technicians.

FRESH INNOVATION

Staying true to Westye’s earliest pioneering efforts, Sub-Zero continues to refine and invent ways to preserve your food’s freshness and reduce waste.

PROLONG FOOD LIFE

We pioneered a dual refrigeration system with separate cooling systems for the refrigerator and freezer. This prevents hasty spoilage of fresh food and minimizes freezer burn.

CLEANER AIR

Sub-Zero refrigerators come with an air purification system (based on technology developed by NASA) that scrubs the air of ethylene and odor every 20 minutes.

SEALS IN THE COLD

The very doors on a Sub-Zero refrigerator are made with preservation in mind. The seals are so secure that some owners report no thawing of frozen foods after multi-day power outages.
