We often hear our design and architecture clients talk about hardware as "jewelry for the home," so we thought it'd be fun to take a closer look at some of the most innovate collections available at Snyder Diamond. Whether you're looking for minimalist pieces or knockout sparklers, we've got them.
New wood designs from Ashley Norton’s Manzoni Collection
Since 1987, Ashley Norton has been manufacturing one of the largest and most diverse ranges of kitchen, bathroom and door hardware. With both solid brass and solid bronze manufacturing capabilities at their New Jersey foundry, their metals collections have long offered something for everyone but new to their modernist, Italian design-inspired Manzoni collection is a range of wood drawer pulls, rounding out the existing metal-finish offerings. Available in walnut and oak, the new designs meld perfectly into contemporary interiors, and offer great ergonomics to boot. Because the handles are natural wood, there can be slight variations to color and grain. Each piece is treated with a protective lacquer finish.
All that glitters is Berebi
For those who love period flourishes and over-the-top glamour, Edgar Berebi’s dazzling collections will delight. Meticulously crafted, each Berebi design—from drawer pulls to switch plates, feels like a Fabergé masterpiece. The designs incorporate luxury materials like 24-karat gold plate and Swarovski crystals (as seen in the playful flowers, frogs and sea creatures seen above), and each piece is hand-finished. With such decorative impact, it will probably come as no surprise that the company also produces a spectacular range of home items, including frames, boxes, table top items and desk accessories.
Thoroughly modern Colonial Bronze
Founded in 1927 by Swiss immigrant brothers Maximillian and Joseph Ruefli, Connecticut-based Colonial Bronze produces an incredible range of products. As the name might imply, there are very traditional Georgian-style designs but there are also impeccably modern pieces—so modern, in fact, they even offer an antimicrobial copper. The myriad collections and finishes reflect their nearly 90 years in business, but our favorite is the Tanner’s Craft collection, made with beautiful leathers from Edelman Leather. The options are plentiful (and customizable), with some of the leathers treated with a patented finish called EDGE that improves leather’s ability to resist water and staining. Couple that with the company’s lifetime finish guarantee and you’ve got yourself a timeless, lasting investment. The company, like us, is still in the family, and now run by the third generation.
