Luxury bathroom fixture manufacturer THG Paris celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the company asked Pierre-Yves Rochon, a longtime collaborator, to design a commemorative edition of its “Pétale de Cristal” collection. Called Numero 60, the new design also continues THG’s longtime partnership with Baccarat, one of the most prestigious French crystal firms. From its earliest days, founders André Tetard, Julien Haudiquez and Alexandre Grisoni (hence the name THG) sought to develop partnerships with other fine manufactures and well-known designers, like Daum and Andrée Putman. It's an approach that’s made them an industry leader.
Numero 60 debuted at ICFF earlier this year, and will make a special appearance at WestEdge, along with other new designs from THG Paris. (You can see a few of the new pieces in our slideshow, just after the portrait of the founders.) The lobed crystal form of the Pétale design was inspired by the lotus flower and features brilliant gold accents—each one is hand carved and inlaid with a gold powder—and each bears the distinctive Baccarat signature. But it’s not just sinks. Bath and shower fittings are also available, as is a line of matching accessories.
And while you’re at WestEdge, don’t miss the Snyder Diamond lounge designed by Ryan White. It’ll be a great place to work or relax, and to catch our live Convo by Design (CXD) interviews.
