A Fond Farewell to Vin Scully

We at Snyder Diamond are huge fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers, so it’s with tremendous gratitude and affection that we say so long to Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully.

Russ Diamond visited the booth the last week to say goodbye in person to the legend who has called more than 9,000 games over his 67-year career. We’d like to thank Vin for his years of friendship and for being a longtime customer. He has made a tremendous contribution to baseball—to athletics, in general—and we couldn’t be more proud of our hometown hero. We will miss his voice, “the soundtrack of summer,” but we wish him a joy-filled retirement in the company of family and friends.

We love you, Vin. Go, Blue!
