Refined curves mean maximum comfort.
Making its debut this July is WetStyle’s new freestanding Mood bathtub, and we’re more than a little in love with it. The design is based on a pair of offset ellipses for a form that’s fluid and comforting. Literally. It has reclining dual backs: one a seated position that’s perfect for reading, the other a more lounge-like option for simply relaxing.
The tub, which is handcrafted in Montreal, Canada, is a study in simplicity, its clean-lined silhouette creating an air of quietude in the bathroom. Ultimately, it’s that look and feel which allows it to blend so effortlessly into both contemporary and traditional bathroom schemes. And cleverly, the design features a thicker rim on one side, which adds to the originality of its form while offering a practical solution for storage—be it luxury products, a book or your glass of wine.
The Mood bathtub comes in two white finishes, gloss and matte, with a variety of finishes for its drain and overflow features: polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black, satin brass, and white. It’s available to order starting this August.
“I am sure there are things that can't be cured by a good bath but I can't think of one.”

“I like to read in the bathtub. Ideally, that bathtub would be located on a small Greek island.”
