The Snyder Diamond Holiday Gift Guide
Top designers weigh in on the most lavish presents from our showrooms.
The 2020 Snyder Diamond Holiday Gift Guide has arrived! This year, you’ll find a beautiful mix of kitchen, bath and outdoor items, plus some of L.A.’s top designers are sharing what they’re most coveting in our showrooms. One thing we all agree on: Good things come in BIG boxes!
Jamie Bush: PRO 48-inch Refrigerator by Sub-Zero
“If price weren’t an object, I feel I would buy the free-standing 48-inch Stainless Pro Sub Zero with the glass door. I think it’s such a kick-ass refrigerator with the ultimate understated cool factor. The vintage Ford Bronco of fridges.”
Also known as the Legacy Model, this ultra-efficient design features the most current technology available, preserving refrigerated foods with cool, moist air and frozen foods with frigid, dry air.
Elizabeth Lamont of Room at the Beach, Inc.: Mizu tub from Hydro Systems
“I would definitely have a Japanese soaking tub in a client's home—or mine, to warm my bones after a long day of searching for the perfect find for my clients. It is so healthy and nurturing; a definite must-have in a luxury bathroom."
The Mizu tub from Hydro Systems is a modern iteration of the traditional Japanese soaking tub known as an ofuro. Architect Yoshiro Taniguchi’s modernist design for the Peace Pagoda in San Francisco is the inspiration behind hits minimalist design.
24-inch 400 series Wine Refrigerators from Gaggenau
"Well, I do like my wine. I 'm thinking to build a ‘wine pantry’ sooner or later. It’s not exactly a wine cellar, it's more elegant—more of a butler’s pantry with glass cabinets that feature wine glasses and decanters. Most of all, there must be plenty of refrigerated wine storage. I love Champagne and Franciacorta very cold! From Snyder Diamond I would buy two Gaggenau 24-inch 400 series wine refrigerators and place them side by side. I like the easy access with the push-to-open feature and the three different climate zones. Oh Lord, now I'm dreaming! Salute!"

Erica Islas of EMI Interior Design:
The Logica Range from Effegibi’s Effa Perfect Wellness collection
“Snyder Diamond is my go-to so I see lots of goodies all the time that I want! But my gift would be a hammam. That Logica home spa is amazing! I mean, who wouldn’t want a home spa to enhance their daily wellness rituals? Spas offer so many health benefits. It would be the gift that keeps on giving.”

1. Devon & Devon’s Zelda Vanity
There’s a reason luxury Italian brand is known for its stylish, Art Deco-inspired bath furnishings—just take a look at Zelda. The new vanity design is named for Zelda Fitzgerald (novelist, socialite and wife of F. Scott Fitzgerald) and takes its cues from a classic bedroom dresser. It’s sinuous lines and rounded shapes are enhanced by marble and brass elements. Pink may have been Zelda’s choice but with custom options available, it’s entirely up to you.
2. The My Edition Tap from AXOR
This new line of faucets pairs a sleek, low profile design with your choice of six different cover plates: leather, wood, two types of marble, and black or mirrored glass. (You can even choose several and swap them out as you please.) Add in a baker’s dozen of optional finishes and you’ve got yourself a highly personalized design. You can even add monograms or inscriptions for an even more exclusive touch.
3. Rainmoon Shower by Dornbracht
Offering a multi-sensory water experience, the Rainmoon features two flow modes. The Tempest features large, soft water droplets and the Aqua Circle flow mode surrounds the body in a bubbling rain curtain. The head stays clear and dry above the moonlight for a meditative sensation of infinity.
4. Gaggenau’s Ultimate Coffee Machine
The 400 Series Fully Automatic Coffee Machine brews a wide array of coffees and hot milk drinks, with the ability to save up to eight of your personalized configurations to memory. Its empty grinding function means you can switch between different bean types without them mixing together, so whether you are preparing two beverages at a time or just one, making your perfect coffee is almost effortless. Aside from every variation of espresso and milk-based drinks, as well as the classic cup of coffee, it can warm milk and provide hot water for tea.
5. GRAFF’s New MOD+ Faucet
This first modular collection from GRAFF allows you to select a different finish for each part of the faucet. Choose between 18 different finishes (ranging from 24-karat gold to bushed rose gold) and then select your handle perfect finish: matte black or white, brushed or polished metallics or three new marbles in green, black and white. The effect can be absolutely dazzling.
6. True Refrigeration Goes Green, Emerald Green
The color green is associated with wellbeing, growth and renewal—two concepts particularly poignant as we start a new year—and it’s the latest color option to join the company’s offerings. As part of the company’s Build Your True program, you can choose your preferred coordinating hardware (stainless steel, copper, brass, etc.) to create just the look you want. And think beyond just your refrigerator—an entire indoor-outdoor suite can be created with under-counter options that include wine refrigeration, refrigeration drawers and even beer taps.
7. Kalamazoo’s New Shokunin Kamado Grill
The newly launched grill is called Shokunin after the Japanese word meaning a master of one’s profession, a craftsman or an artisan. The design redefines industry standards for outdoor cooking by taking the best design principles of a traditional kamado grill and broadening its capabilities to create better, more even heat distribution, an expanded cooking surface, and additional cooking levels to maximize the grilling experience. It’s a must-have for any grilling aficionado.
8. The TOTO Washlet
Give the gift of cleanliness with the TOTO Washlet. The high-tech seat attaches easily to nearly any toilet and uses pure, clean water to cleanse better than a traditional bidet. The washlets, which only require a nearby electrical outlet, utilize a warm-water nozzle controlled via remote in either the pulsating or oscillating mode. After rinsing, a temperature-controlled drying system begins. Washlets also feature a heated seat, water-saving dual flushing system and automatic flushing. It’s a great and easy way to upgrade your current toilet, giving you all the benefits of a luxury loo with this simple addition.
9. Miele’s Robot Vacuum
With two cameras as “eyes,” there’s nothing the Scout RX2 Home Vision robo vac can’t handle. Dust, ash, pets, crumbs—it’s the ultimate household helper. Its stereovision allows it to navigate floors more precisely. It can judge distances more accurately, relying on an array of infrared sensors to sidestep collisions, correct its path if knocked off course and dodge stairs or other damaging drops. The design features 2 hours of runtime—without loosing an ounce of performance—and includes a live-images feed viewable from your smart phone. You can also use the app to directly control the vacuum and steer it manually.
